hesoslim asked: lol Tom please. I don't even care about Captain Marvel and her imaginary huge sales, but come on. Everybody knows you guys put a book out for the character because she is the "official Marvel Wonder Woman." The book doesn't exist do to overwhelming fan demand. Not only is she the character that marketing and corporate have chosen as the main Marvel female, but not coincidentally, the company is considering the character for a solo movie. What did I tell you about condescending to the fans?
Let’s do a basic thought-check here for a second:
Why do you think that character is getting a movie? Why would Marvel Studios commit millions of dollars to put behind that character, if she is the non-starting failure that you seem to want her to be.
That makes less than no sense.
You only need to look at how Captain Marvel has been trending a number of times this past week to understand just how many people are interested in Carol Danvers and what is going on with her–and we’re talking about publishing here.
Carol has a movie. Wonder Woman is the “official DC Captain Marvel.” (Which is funny, because you’d think it’d be Shazam. Nope, Diana.)
